I just finished reading this great post on the resurrection from Dove Theology. The blogger does not claim to prove the resurrection is true. Rather, he is using standard scientific and mathematical tools (in particular, bayesian analysis) to show that, in principle, the resurrection is a valid conclusion if you have the right kind of historical data to draw inferences from. His main point is that this is true whether or not you have theistic beliefs a priori.
